CANI are running the following recreational paddles and we encourage everyone to come along. All ages and abilities are welcome and equipment can be hired if you dont have your own.

CANI Turkey Paddle 27th December 2009
The plan for the day will be to meet at 10.00am access point 1 (Maydown bridge) on the Blackwater trail map and paddle down to point 5 Bonds Bridge. After the paddle we are going for an informal glass of mulled wine in the Moy. We look forward to seeing every one of all ages and abilities.
The Turkey paddle has been very well attended over the past couple of years, it is a great opportunity to get out and meet lots of paddlers and break up the Christmas break.

Salt Island Bothy Strangford 9th-10th January 2010
If you would like to book on please register through the CANI website under recreational calendar or under the recreational section on the home page. We will meet at 10.00am access point A (Killyleagh) on the Strangford trail map. This overnight trip will include staying in the bothy you will need to be self sufficient for staying in the bothy further details on the trip will be emailed to participants closer to the date.
The price for the trip is £10.00 for members and £20.00 for non members.
